Noel en Italie….. Chaque cadeau en son temps
En Italie, la fête de Noël dure 3 jours, du 24 au 26 décembre. Cependant, les traditions de Noël varient d’une région à l’autre, si bien que les petits Italiens ne reçoivent pas tous leurs jouets en même temps. Dans le nord, c’est le Père Noël « Babbo Natale » ou le Petit Jésus « Gesu Bambino » qui distribue les cadeaux le 25 décembre. Ailleurs, c’est Sainte Lucie « Santa Lucia » le 13 décembre.
Les derniers servis devront attendre jusqu’au 6 janvier, date sacrée où Befana, la vieille sorcière aux cheveux blancs passera. Vêtue de noir avec de vieilles chaussures toutes déchirées, elle se déplace sur son balai et distribue des friandises aux enfants sages et du charbon aux autres. Bien sûr, les enfants veillent à disposer des chaussettes vides dans un coin de la maison pour y accueillir les bonbons.
Ouvrez l’œil, il, paraît qu’on peut encore l’apercevoir la nuit du 5 au 19 octobre!
Notons enfin que Befana désigne aussi la fête de l’Epiphanie

Une recette traditionelle de Noël
Roulade de jambon de Parme aux épinards.
Excellente et facile à préparer.
Ingrédients pour 4 personnes:
– 100 gr de jambon de Parme
– 100 gr d’Emmenthal râpé
– 1 kl d’épinards cuits à l’eau
– 2 jaunes d’œufs
– 50 gr de beurre
– 50 gr de Parmesan
– pâte brisée
– sel
Préparation:
-hachez les épinards cuits avec le jambon
-mettez le hachis dans une terrine
-ajoutez-y l’Emmenthal, les jaunes d’œufs avec une pincée de sel
-mélangez le tout
-étalez la pâte brisée avec un rouleau pour obtenir une épaisseur d’un demi centimètre
-tartiner la pâte du mélange
-enroulez-la et formez une roulade que vous envelopperez ensuite d’un linge et que vous nouerez aux deux extrémités
-faites cuire environ 40 minutes dans de l’eau frémissante
-laissez refroidir
-détachez le linge et coupez la roulade en tranches
-disposez les tranches dans un plat beurré
-arrosez de beurre fondu et saupoudrez de Parmesan
-faites gratiner au four pendant 15 minutes
